SafeBike Box – Fit Guidance & Compatibility Notes
All dimensions shown are intended as a general reference only. Depending on bike size and setup, minor disassembly may be required to ensure a safe fit.
A) If this dimension is exceeded, the rear derailleur should be removed. For mountain bikes, fork removal may also be necessary.
B) If this measurement is exceeded, lower the seatpost or remove the saddle and seatpost assembly entirely.
C) If this measurement is exceeded, reposition the bike within the box. Mountain bikes may require fork removal.
D) If this dimension is exceeded, remove the rear derailleur. For MTBs, fork removal will also be required.
E) SafeBike boxes accommodate deep-section wheels, full disc* wheels, disc brake wheels, mountain bike wheels, tubeless setups, and up to three wheels in total**.
F) Please check handlebar width carefully. If the maximum width is exceeded, handlebars will need to be removed. Mountain bikes may also require fork removal.
Rider Height & Bike Type Guidance
Riders 180cm (5’11”) or under with a road bike:
Typically only wheel and pedal removal is required.Riders over 180cm (5’11”) with a road bike:
You may need to lower the seatpost, remove the rear derailleur, or both.Riders over 190cm (6’3”) using large or extra-large road frames:
Seatpost and rear derailleur removal is usually required. In rare cases, chainset removal may be necessary — please check the seat height measurement before packing.Mountain bikes:
Handlebars and forks must usually be removed. Some XS and Small MTBs may fit with forks left in place.
