Airline Compliance & Liability Policy

Safe Bike provides bike boxes for travel purposes. We make reasonable efforts to comply with airline luggage regulations, but airline policies are subject to change, and Safe Bike cannot guarantee acceptance or assume liability for airline decisions.

1. Airline Policy Compliance

• Safe Bike designs and maintains bike boxes in accordance with general airline size, weight, and packaging standards.

• We regularly update our guidance to reflect current airline luggage policies.

• Renters are strongly advised to check their airline’s specific requirements for bike transport prior to travel.

2. Renter Responsibility

• Renters must ensure the bike box complies with their airline’s current check-in requirements, including:

  • Maximum dimensions and weight limits

  • Packing standards and secure fastening

  • Any additional airline-specific regulations

• Renters are responsible for any fees, surcharges, or penalties imposed by the airline.

• Safe Bike is not responsible for delays, denied boarding, or refusal of check-in by the airline.

3. Limitation of Liability

• Safe Bike and Raceline Coaching Ltd cannot be held liable for:

  • Refusal of a bike box at check-in by any airline

  • Airline-imposed fees, damages, or loss

  • Any inconvenience or financial costs incurred due to airline policies

4. Guidance & Recommendations

• Pack the bike securely according to airline instructions.

• Arrive early at check-in to allow sufficient time for inspection.

• Contact your airline directly for up-to-date rules on bicycle transport.

5. Acceptance of Terms

By renting a Safe Bike bike box, you acknowledge that:

• You have read and understood the airline compliance guidance.

• You accept that Safe Bike is not responsible for airline refusal or fees.

• All responsibility for airline compliance rests with the renter.
