Bike Box Rental Terms of Service / Rental Agreement

By renting a bike box from Safe Bike, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before completing your rental.

1. Rental Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

  • You must provide a valid form of identification at the time of rental.

  • You must be physically capable of handling the bike box safely.

2. Rental Period & Booking

  • The rental period begins at the agreed collection time and ends when the bike box is returned to Safe Bike in the same condition.

  • Booking must be made in advance via our website, phone, or in-person.

  • Late returns may incur additional fees.

Late Returns, Theft, Loss, or Damage

  • Late Returns: Bike boxes must be returned by the agreed date and time. Late returns will incur a fee of £15 per day. A 4-hour grace period may apply for same-day rentals at Safe Bike’s discretion or with tracked delivery with our supplier confirmed.

  • Extended Non-Return: If a bike box is not returned within 7 days, the renter will be charged the full replacement cost of the bike box.

  • Theft, Loss, or Damage: You are responsible for securing the bike box during rental. Charges for repair or replacement will be based on retail value plus administrative fees.

3. Rental Fees & Payment

  • Rental fees must be paid in full at the time of booking or collection.

  • Accepted payment methods: [Insert payment methods].

  • A security deposit may be required to cover potential damage or loss.

  • Fees are non-refundable for missed rentals unless otherwise agreed.

4. Bike Box Condition & Responsibility

  • All bike boxes are inspected for safety and functionality before rental.

  • You are responsible for returning the bike box in the same condition it was rented.

  • Any damage, loss, or theft of the bike box during the rental period is your responsibility.

  • Notify Safe Bike immediately of any damage or defect discovered during the rental.

5. Use Guidelines

  • Bike boxes are designed for transporting bicycles only. Do not use them for other purposes.

  • Do not overload the box beyond the manufacturer’s recommended weight limits.

  • Secure the bike properly inside the box to prevent damage during transit.

  • Safe Bike is not responsible for damage to the bicycle or contents during transport.

6. Liability & Waiver

  • By renting a bike box, you acknowledge that Safe Bike is not responsible for injuries or damage arising from handling, transporting, or storing the box.

  • Safe Bike and Raceline Coaching Ltd are not liable for damage to the bicycle or personal property inside the box.

  • You assume full responsibility for safe use, transportation, and storage of the bike box.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the rental start time.

  • Refunds may be issued at the discretion of Safe Bike, minus any processing fees.

  • No refunds are provided for late collection or missed rentals.

8. Theft, Loss, or Damage

  • You are responsible for securing the bike box during rental.

  • In the event of theft, loss, or damage, you must notify Safe Bike immediately.

  • Charges for repair or replacement will be based on retail value plus administrative fees.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

10. Acceptance

By renting a bike box from Safe Bike, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service / Rental Agreement.
